Shipper declaration
Effective: 2026-07-01
Every booking made through Deliver Hub is subject to the following shipper declaration. By clicking "Book shipment" you affirm each statement in this declaration.
1. Declaration
I, the shipper, declare that:
- The contents of this shipment are accurately described on the booking form.
- The shipment does not contain any item listed in the Prohibited items policy.
- The declared weight and dimensions match the actual weight and dimensions of the package.
- The consignee's address and phone number are correct to the best of my knowledge.
- I have obtained any regulatory approvals (e-way bill, LR, invoice, DGCA/AAI clearances) required for the shipment.
2. Dangerous goods (DG) certification
If the shipment contains lithium batteries (loose, in equipment, or contained-in equipment), magnets, aerosols, dry ice, or any other UN Class 1–9 substance, I certify that:
- The item has been declared using the DG toggle on the booking form.
- The item is packed, marked, and labelled per the applicable IATA-DGR (air) / IMDG (sea) / ADR (road) rules.
- I hold a valid DG training certificate, or the shipment falls under an exempt quantity per the rules of the applicable code.
3. HAZMAT sign-off
For hazardous shipments the courier partner may require a signed physical HAZMAT declaration in addition to this electronic declaration. Deliver Hub will surface the declaration PDF from the label download screen where required.
4. E-consent record
My acceptance of this declaration is recorded electronically together with the timestamp, IP address, user agent, and merchant identifier at the moment of booking. This record constitutes a valid e-signature under Section 3A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
5. Consequences of a false declaration
A false or misleading declaration is a breach of these Terms and may (a) render the shipment non-insurable, (b) attract courier surcharges recoverable from the wallet balance, (c) result in suspension or termination of the account, and (d) be reported to the applicable Indian authorities.
